Abrhame Endrias

Abrhame Endrias, an enthusiastic agripreneur, is the Founder and Managing Director of Green Agro Solutions. He has spent more than 10 years working at various agricultural value chains spanning from horticulture to mechanized service provision. Abrhame aims to establish a digital platform that makes farming accessible to everyone: ‘I believe agriculture should not be feared by the youth, and the construction of such a platform to fulfill farming needs will attract more young people to agriculture.'

Bethelhem Tesfaye

Betelhem Tesfaye currently works as the Product Lead at Lersha where She has extensive experience as a devoted project manager, product owner, scrum master, agile coach and business analyst with a proven track record of success in planning, estimating, organizing, and leading the overall implementation of large-scale local and international projects. When she is not using her multidimensional skills to Lersha, she enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, movies, coaching, and volunteering are some of her favorite things to do.

Meron Sileshi

Meron Sileshi is the Business Development and Communications Lead at Green Agro Solutions (Lersha), where she is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to ensure that the organization's message is clear, consistent, and effective across all communication channels as well as to attract and retain clients/partners to drive positive change in the lives of smallholder farmers and contribute to the growth of Lersha. She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Addis Ababa University School of Commerce. She has experience working in Tech Startups as Business Development and Marketing Professional as well as Leraning Experience Training Facilitator.

Salem Bogale

Salem Bogale currently works for Lersha as a Market Lead, where she is in charge of sales, marketing, and customer service. She intends on establishing marketing plans and methods at Lersha that will help raise brand awareness while also assisting the company's import-export process. Salem has over eight years of marketing and sales expertise, including working as a sales manager for an importer and export company. She is always ready to learn new things and keep up with the most up-to-date digital marketing techniques.

Biniyam Mengesha

Biniyam Mengesha is an operation lead and assistant to the managing director. He recently joined Lersha, motivated by the desire to learn more and see the impact of agricultural digitalization on the growth of smallholder farmers. Biniyam worked as a sales and marketing manager with senior management positions in several international and local corporate firms before his employment as Operation lead and assistant. His more than 13 years of expertise spans from Horticulture (Joe Flowers PLC), Automobile assembly (LIFAN MOTORS), aquaculture (ASA Ethiopia), Construction and machinery supply (Timex Trading PLC), and now digital agriculture (Green Technology).

Wondwossen Worku

Wondwossen Worku Mebrat currently operates at Lersha as a Business Lead for the Digital Platform, where he aids with Farm Input, Mechanization, and agro-climatic consultancy services. He is an investment facilitator, enterprise development, rural finance, agricultural insurance, and agribusiness expert with over 14 years of expertise. Reading, hiking, and traveling are three of his favorite pastimes.

Debela Mossissa

Debela Mosissa is Green Agro Solution’s Agribusiness lead on the Lersha platform. He focuses on project management, value chain development, rural financing and marketing, community and stakeholder capacity building, and business model development, and scaling out with partners. He has also worked as a counselor and provided psychosocial help to others. He enjoys social justice campaigns and advocacy.

Amanuel Zegeye

Amanuel Zegeye works as a Data Science Intern, where he creates and maintains data systems and databases, interpretes data sets with statistical techniques and prepares reports that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions based on pertinent results. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Asia Pacific University, and has previously worked in database management and web development at Nib International Bank and Room Roaming. As a data science expert, you're essentially a modern-day Sherlock Holmes, working as a detective. For people with inquisitive minds, the industry is ideal. He is passionate about maximizing my potential in data analytics and becoming a leader in the field.

Dechasa Bedada

Dechasa Bedada currently works as an Agent Coordinator for Lersha where he is responsible for any Field Activity operations on the Lersha Digital Platform. He is a field officer who supports the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of sponsorship activities at the field level, ensuring that implementation schedules are met as per the detailed activity plan. Dechasa also has over 6 years of experience working in the non-profit sector. He is passionate about traveling, tennis, and documentaries.

My name is Biruk Adera, I have previously worked at iCog Labs as a Web and Android developer, at Awtar as project manager, at ConDigital as a senior web developer and at Upwork as a freelancer. Currently, I work as the Lead Frontend Developer at Lersha.

Yabetse Genene

Yabetse Genene previously worked at iCog Labs as a UI/UX, Android, and Web developer, at ETTA as a UI designer and mobile app developer, at Infranet Inc. as a mobile app developer, and at Gogoprint Ltd. as a front-end developer. He is currently the Lead UI/UX Developer at Lersha. Architecture and design are two of his greatest passions.

Biniyam Getaeh

Biniyam Getaneh currently works at Lersha as a software engineer. He has graduated from Gondar University, and has prior experience working at Xoka IT solutions as a software developer, designing software for the Ethiopian federal housing corporation, Geothermal as well as some single-window ERP websites. He likes to read, watch movies, and listen to music in his leisure time.

Zemene Yohannes

Zemene Yohannes works as an agronomist at Lersha, where he implements crop production-related digital systems and tools. He has over 16 years of experience as an expert in crop farming, organizing agricultural programs, as well as offering plant and pest services. As an agriculturalist, he is passionate about not only producing food for over a hundred million people across the nation but also educating and spreading awareness about agriculture and how it benefits everyone in society.

Frehiwot Talema

Frehiwot Talema is currently the Junior Software Developer at Lersha, where she is responsible for building and maintaining critical features for the Lersha platform, including the mobile application and website. Frehiwot Talema previously worked as a Software Developer at Digital MedarBeider where she was a software engineer working on the front end. In her previous role, she oversaw the development of several websites as well as some backend operations. Reading, watching documentaries, and visiting historical sites are just a few of her favorite things to do.

Zinash Getachew

Zinash Getachew currently works as the Junior Hr and Admin Officer at Lersha were she is responsible for performing basic administrative tasks to make sure office operations and procedures are organised and also involved in assisting the HR department and supporting financial processes.she has previously worked as a data collector at datanet Plc and other sectors. Watching movies and spending time with family and friends are her favourite things to do.

Ikram Ali

Ikram Ali currently works at Green Agro Solution, where she provides hospitality services and is in charge of aiding and assisting the Lersha team. She holds an IT diploma (hardware & networking) and has a year of experience as a salesperson. She is always eager to gain new knowledge. Her favourite activities include cooking, driving, and traveling to Arab nations.

Abdelah Nasir

Abdelah Nasir is responsible for monitoring and ensuring that Lersha agents meet their performance targets, provide excellent customer service, and adhere to company policies and procedures. He is also involved in training and handling escalated customer issues. Prior to his current role, Abdelah worked as a call center agent at Lersha. He graduated with a Plant Science degree from Werabe University in 2021 and has previous experience as a Graphic Designer at Tikur Trading. Outside of work, Abdelah enjoys watching movies, going out on walks, and listening to podcasts.

Rukiya Abdulkedir

Rukiya Abdulkedir currently is a Call Center Agent at Lersha, where she gathers information to help facilitate transactions for farmers, as well as respond to the inquiries of the platform’s users. She is a fresh graduate of Wolaita Sodo University in Horticulture. When she is not taking phone calls from Lersha platform users and assisting with translation, she enjoys watching movies and visiting cultural and historical sites.

He graduated from Debre Berhan University with a degree in Horticulture and has worked at his family’s shop before joining the Lersha team. When he is not engaging with the platform’s users to make agriculture easy for smallholder farmers, he enjoys watching movies and running.

Tihune Wondatr is a Call Center Agent at Lersha, where she gathers information to help facilitate transactions for farmers, as well as respond to the inquiries of the platform’s users. She graduated from Gondar University with a degree in Plant Science and has worked in herbicide and pesticide trading before joining the Lersha team. When she is not applying her experience to assist the platform’s users, she enjoys handcrafting, gardening and spending time with her son.
